Languages Week is an important event in Rokeby’s calendar as it provides an opportunity to celebrate our linguistic diversity and to promote the importance of language learning.

Lots of activities took place in lessons and around school including:

– Careers with languages presentations
– Language Week Key Stage assemblies
– Workshop with language students from the University of Exeter
– Crack the languages code challenge
– Duolingo Challenge (Years 7 & 8 – see below)
– Guess the sweets competition (see below)
– Language Scavenger hunt
– University of Exeter Competition (see below)
