What is your best memory of Rokeby?

Most definitely lunch times!  From Year 8 when my older brother introduced me to all the fellow Lithuanians in school.  We used to play football, basketball or just hang out together. As the years went by we all got our GCSEs and left.  In Year 11 we were all slightly sad as we knew that it was the last year we would all get a chance to hang out like this before going our separate ways.

What advice would you have for current students at Rokeby?

Don’t wait for everything to just happen to you. You need to work hard for a better future.  If you’re not sure what you want in life, take your time to figure it out and start working towards it.  Find things that you like, start learning on your own and don’t just rely on your teachers to pave your path for you. Finally, find a healthy balance between what’s fun and what is important. What I mean by this is that friends will come and go, new video games will come out every year – don’t invest all your free time on things that will yield no benefits long term.
